February 22, 1980…I remember it like it was yesterday! The day WE beat the Russians in Lake Placid on our way to the GOLD Medal! I have been overwhelmed by so many wonderful stories over the years with people telling me where they were as they watched the game, but more importantly, how they were inspired by our win. THE REAL HEROES. THOSE WHO PROTECT THE GREATEST COUNTRY – AMERICA

A hero of mine, SSG Donald H.
